A well-known motoring brand has entered the real estate market.

AAA has been named “Brand of the Year” in property and casualty insurance in the 2014 Harris Poll EquiTrend study.

The study looked at things such as emotional connection, brand awareness, influence and familiarity among 40,000 Americans and found AAA came out on top.

AAA Carolinas has been offering property and casualty insurance since 2007, according to Jim McCafferty, president of the Members Insurance Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of AAA Carolinas.

The property and casualty insurance is available in Horry and Georgetown counties and can be purchased through the agency’s Myrtle Beach office. You do not have to be a AAA member to purchase it.
