About 30 businesses and staffing agencies are scheduled to participate in a job fair next week.

Landscaping companies, the city of North Myrtle Beach, Home Depot, nursing homes and restaurant operators such as Divine Dining Group are among the employers that have signed up to participate.

Some of the available jobs are seasonal, others are year-round.

The job fair is set for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 N. Kings Highway. The event will be near the mall’s movie theater.

Job-seekers should dress appropriately and bring a resume if they have one. They don’t have to register to attend the free job fair.

This is the third year for the job fair sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina and the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Last year, the 30 participating employers accepted 1,346 applications and hired 17 people on site, according to the organizers.
