Hickory Tavern in North Myrtle Beach is hosting a job fair to hire 90 employees for its new restaurant.
The tavern, slated to open in mid-December and known for its sports passion, will have the job fair from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Dec. 3 at the restaurant, 1580 U.S. 17 in the Coastal North Town Center.
The company plans to hire host/hostesses, servers, bartenders, cooks and dishwashers.
“We are very excited to welcome new members to the Hickory Tavern family in Myrtle Beach,” said Hickory Tavern CMO Thom Perez in a press release. “Hickory Tavern takes great pride in how we treat our guests and the key to that is to find the right team members to serve our guests. There are a variety of positions available and we offer a great opportunity to work in a fun, family friendly atmosphere with great people.”
Hickory Tavern opened its first restaurant in Charlotte, N.C., in 1997 and is a unique brand of casual dining and lively bar atmosphere. There are about 70 TVs throughout the restaurant. It was named as runner-up in ESPN’s Best Sports Bar in North America contest.
