    The Myrtle Beach International Airport's radar control was recently upgraded with the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS.) The system should enable air traffic controllers to combine data from a number of radar systems in order to create a complete and accurate picture of traffic and weather in the airspace surrounding Myrtle Beach International Airport.
