The cooks in our families really show off their culinary skills on Thanksgiving by preparing food that makes our mouths water and our waists wider.
For a special family meal, try Mediterranean Pork Kebabs (see recipe). Serve with couscous and add some chopped kalamata olives to it. Alongside, broccollini and dinner rolls are good. Buy a chocolate meringue pie for dessert.
To the victor go the spoils; to the host go the leftovers. One of the great rewards of preparing a Thanksgiving feast is getting first dibs on the leftovers. But guests don't have to resort to sneaking potatoes into their purses to extend the feast beyond the main meal.
Ditch the dinner rolls and do biscuits instead. You'll get the home-baked goodness of fresh bread minus most of the effort and time.
