Deputies with the Brunswick County, N.C., Sheriff’s office arrested seven people in unrelated drug operations last week, according to a news release.
On Wednesday, Steven Scott Hrubes, 34, of Tabor City, N.C., was arrested in Shallotte, N.C., on charges of four counts of trafficking opium, three counts of failure to appear, two counts of simple worthless checks and one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver controlled substance, sell and deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hrubes is being held on $750,000 bond. During the arrest, drug agents seized 90 Percocet pills and 13 Tylenol with a cash value of $159.
On Friday, police executed a search warrant at 1601 Longwood Road in Longwood, N.C., and arrested a 19-year-old man, according to the release. During the search agents seized cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police charged William Anthony Daniels, Jr., of Longwood, with felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000 for Daniels.
Also on Friday, police searched a home located at 2283 Camelia Drive in Supply, N.C., and seized 13.2 grams of hashish, three alprazolam pills, 43 grams of marijuana, bags, digital scales, a pipe and rolling papers.
Police arrested Mary Emma Shough, 63, of Supply, on possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; maintaining a residence for the purpose of distributing controlled substances; possession of controlled substances; and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver controlled substance.
Shough’s bond was set at $50,000
Iran Lee-Nez Ward, 27, of Chadbourn, N.C., was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine; possess more than ½ ounce, but less than 1 and ½ ounces of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ward’s bond was set at $10,000.
Robert Earl Milligan, 49, of Ash, N.C., was charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Chad Michael Lunceford, 20, of Shallotte, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Sally Melissa Crumbley, 37, of Supply, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
