Three Georgetown County Sheriff employees were honored with annual awards, according to authorities.
During the annual ceremony, Sheriff A. Lane Cribb recognized the employees who work in the sheriff’s office, detention center and 911 communications, according to a news release.
The following employees received the following awards:
Deputy Sean Wydra was selected as the Deputy of the Year; Officer Jeff Wheeler was selected as the Correctional Officer of the Year and Sabrina Stevens was selected as the Communications Officer of the Year.
“In addition to this year’s award winners, I would also like to congratulate all my employees for their outstanding job performance,” Cribb said. “Every year I wish I could present all my employees with awards because they all are outstanding employees. I am very proud of all my employees and I stand behind their decision that these three employees are well deserved of these awards.”
