A Loris man was charged with attempted murder after a fight at his home with a 30-year-old man, according to a police report.
Timothy Jason Spivey, 25, of Sparrow Lane was charged following the incident that occurred about 4 a.m. Sunday, police said. Spivey is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail pending a bond hearing.
Spivey was arrested after he and his brother had been out with the victim and Spivey told police the victim would not leave his home, according to the report. Spivey told police he confronted the victim on the stairs inside his home and punched the man in the face, which caused him to fall down the stairs.
