Officials with the Horry County Police Department, State Law Enforcement Division and U.S. Marshals arrested two area men wanted in connection with recent violent crimes, said Sgt. Robert Kegler of Horry County police.
The two men - Jackie Duvale Jenkins, 24, and Lorenzo Jaquel Herion, 19 - were arrested Thursday at a home on Park Hill in the Conway section of Horry County after officers executed a search warrant.
Jenkins of Loris is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill in connection with a shooting on Dec. 22, 2009 at Mount Vernon Grocery in Loris. He also is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill and first-degree burglary related to a home invasion and shooting on March 22 on Bellamy Drive in Little River.
Herion of Conway is charged with armed robbery stemming from a robbery on Sept. 28 on Oak Street Extension. He also is facing a charge of unlawful use of telephone charge and several failure to appear charges.
Both are being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center in Conway.
