A 22-year-old Myrtle Beach woman was charged with assaulting her boyfriend when they argued about her sister watching their 2-year-old child, according to a police report.
Ricki Rolanda Miller was charged with first-offense criminal domestic violence after Myrtle Beach police were called at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday to 200 Cedar St., police said.
A 36-year-old man told police they argued about medication she was suppose to take and her line of work before she took his telephone and tried to call her sister to care for their 2-year-old child, according to the report. The man said he grabbed the telephone from Miller and she jumped on him, scratched his hands, face and eyes before he pushed her off of him and called police.
The couple’s child, who witnessed the incident, was not hurt and the man suffered a scratch to his hand and redness on his neck and near his eyes, according to the report. Miller told police she argued with the man and when he took the phone she scratched and hit him.
