A Conway woman was indicted on charges she shot another woman in the back, according to court records.
Denika Nicole Gibson, 27, was indicted on a charge of assault and battery with intent to kill for the March 8 incident, according to indictments handed down by an Horry County grand jury.
Gibson was charged after police were called to a home on Boundary Street in Conway in for to a shooting.
When police arrived they found a woman with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to her back. Police learned that the woman was shot in the back on Duckett Street in Conway.

The victim was initially taken to Conway Medical Center and was later flown by helicopter to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
