Forged clubs like the pros
Fourteen Golf, a leading wedge designer and manufacturer for professionals, is revealing its new professionally inspired TC-910 Forged Irons later this month. The striking irons have a clean cavity back, low center of gravity and classic forged feel and were initially developed for touring professionals. Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda says the irons are also forgiving enough to help the low handicapped golfers. A traditionally shaped iron head is manufactured with soft Forged S20C steel and is slightly offset. Its compact head with precisely positioned center of gravity and moment of inertia provides workability for shaping shots, and the low center of gravity creates coveted spin rates for golfers with faster club head speeds. A round wide sole maximizes playability.
Newly engineered distinctive sharply edged trapezoidal grooves undergo a mirror-face milling process that precisely mills each groove for optimal spin, yet are still in compliance with the new groove regulations effective in 2010 for professional tours and in 2014 for amateur tournaments. The TC-910 Forged Iron set is offered in 3-pw with a suggested retail of $1,199. The clubs are finished with a Nickel chrome satin finish. For a low penetrating ball flight the TC-910 Forged Irons are built with a high-flex tour weighted Dynamic Gold Steel Shaft. For area retailers visit www.fourteengolf.com and click on retail locator.
