A 40-year-old Myrtle Beach woman was charged with prostitution during an undercover police investigation, according to a police report.
Barbara Dale Plumley, 40, was charged with first-offense prostitution when officers arrested her about 6:15 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of North Kings Highway, police said.
An officer, who was working undercover, wrote in his report that he was driving in the area of Sixth Avenue North and Chester Street and saw Plumley walking, according to the report. The officer wrote she got into his vehicle and agreed to perform a sexual act for $40.
Another officer then stopped the vehicle and arrested Plumley.
