Never miss a local story.
Q) Are you a local?
A) Not originally, but I’ve been here since 1999. I’m from Chicago. I decided I couldn’t handle the dreary, yucky weather all the time and needed to be at the beach.
Q) First job?
A) I was a newspaper delivery girl.
Q) How long have you been a bartender?
A) Almost 25 years.
Q) Favorite thing about being a bartender?
A) Being able to talk to people.
Q) Best way to get a bartender’s attention?
A) Not to wave or scream their name.
Q) Fears or phobias?
A) Going over bridges and accidentally have the car land in the water and drown.
Q) Favorite quote?
A) “Never regret the things you’ve done, only regret the things you haven’t done.”
Q) Most embarrassing moment?
A) Sitting here with you!
Q) Best tip you’ve ever gotten?
Q) Favorite drink to make?
A) Rumpleminze shots!
Q) Biggest bar tab you’ve ever seen?
A) For my 40th birthday, a group of my friends took me out and we went to Thoroughbreds and our bill was $1,200.
Q) Signature drink?
A) It doesn’t really have a name, it’s got a little bit of Piña Colada mix, a little bit of Blue Curaçao, it’s great for girls that are looking for something sweet but not too strong.
