▪ Allison Morgan
▪ Fiesta del Burro Loco
Never miss a local story.
Q) Where are you from?
A) New Jersey. I was going to Coastal. I sort of stopped going, and I just stayed here for the time being and I haven’t left.
Q) What were you studying at Coastal?
A) Resort Tourism and Hotel Management. So I figured, you know, not so bad working here, it’s kind of the same thing.
Q) How long have you been a bartender?
A) One year. Well I was a cocktail waitress here, and I was like, “I’d like to try bartending,” because the whole “making drinks thing” is really interesting.
Q) Favorite thing about being a bartender?
A) Learning new shots, definitely.
Q) Favorite shot?
A) The Green Tea shot. It’s Jameson, whisky, peach schnapps and sour mix, but you can’t even taste the Jameson. It’s like you’re drinking green tea. It’s really good.
Q) First job?
A) I worked at a burger shack on the beach in New Jersey. It was like a drive-in type place.
Q) Favorite drink to make?
A) Margaritas. I really like the Cadillac margarita. It’s got the Grand Marnier in it.
Q) Perks to being a bartender?
A) Yeah. You get to meet a whole bunch of new people.
Q) Best quality in a bartender?
Q) Biggest bar tab you’ve ever seen?
Q) Craziest thing you’ve ever seen at Burro Loco?
A) I really don’t know, a lot of weird things happen here.
Q) Signature drink?
A) The Crazy Cactus. It’s Silver Cuervo tequila, peach schnapps, banana liqueur, melon liqueur, pineapple, and sour mix.
