If you like live music, you may want to head over to Rockin’ Hard Saloon. The live music venue has a new location and offers a variety of entertainment throughout the week. That’s where we went for happy hour this week.
Rockin’ Hard Saloon left its location next to the Beaver Bar on U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet and moved into a place next to Surf Beverage on U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. It’s the same spot that used to house businesses including Rising Starz Karaoke Club, Stand Up Carolina Comedy Club and Tequila Mockingbird.
The bar gets a good local crowd. Inside the establishment, you’ll find music-themed decor, plenty of tables and seats, a large projector screen, a pool table, and, of course, the stage.
At Rockin’ Hard Saloon, it’s all about the music. On Mondays the bar hosts Open Mic Night. On Wednesdays you’ll usually hear acoustic music, on Thursdays there’s a DJ, and on Fridays and Saturdays you can catch live bands. The music varies from rock to metal to bluegrass to electronic to hip hop to anything in between. Keep an eye on their Facebook and Twitter pages for upcoming live music and specials.
Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. Drink deals include $2 domestic beers and $3 import beers. You can also snag 35-cent wings on Wednesdays.
Parking is limited out front; however, there is a lot of parking in back of the building.
