With doors opening at 5 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Sportatorium at 568 George Bishop Parkway, you’ll first have a chance to meet former WWE diva Christy Hemme, who will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures from 6-7 p.m.
Then, the matches lined up for the evening include John Skyler vs. Jaxson James; Chase Owens vs. Corey Hollis; and some tag team action between Team Lucha and The Bravado Brothers.

You could if you have tickets to see Bush at the House of Blues this Friday night, because the popular band from the ‘90s is sure to play it.
The band, fronted by Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale, hits the stage after Theory of a Deadman, who goes on around 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

This weekend is your very last chance to catch a local production of Broadway-hit “ Rent” at Theatre of the Republic in Conway.
It plays twice on Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and again Sunday at 3 p.m.
The play was also made into a motion picture musical a few years back, starring, among others, Idina Menzel, Taye Diggs and Rosario Dawson. The musical, written by Jonathan Larson, takes on issues like AIDS, poverty, homosexuality and more.

A Spartanburg brewery is setting up shop at Mellow Mushroom for one night next week.
RJ Rockers Brewing Company, Spartanburg’s first brewery that launched in 1997 by owner Mark Johnsen, is pairing up four beers with a specialty menu at Mellow Mushroom in North Myrtle Beach at 7 p.m. March 10.
The menu (subject to change) is:
• A Savory Rye Crepe with Roast Peaches and Goat Cheese paired with Peachy King (an unfiltered American wheat ale)
• Bangers and Mash paired with Brown Eyed Squirrel (a traditional English-style brown ale)
• Cedar Plank Salmon and Mushroom and Asiago Orzo paired with Bell Ringer (a double pale ale)
• Coffee Cheesecake with Chocolate Ganache paired with Half Calf (a milk/sweet stout created with RJ Rockers and Holy City Brewing)
