THE LOCALE | Brewski's Bar & Grill
THE LOWDOWN | LOWDOWN - If you're looking for a nice place to watch a game and enjoy affordable drinks, check out Brewski's Bar & Grill, a new sports bar open in
Surfside Beach. That's where we went for happy hour this week. Brewski's Bar & Grill is located on the corner of U.S. 17 and Eighth Avenue South in Surfside Beach. The building was formerly Murray and Mike's Restaurant, and before that, the Crystallite Cafe.
Brewski's Bar & Grill is laid back, friendly and clean. It's a spot where people feel comfortable enough to fly solo or meet friends to watch a game. Patrons can grab a seat at more than a dozen black high and low-top tables and a dozen bar stools at the bar.
Never miss a local story.
There are several flat panel TVs and the bar will carry all the sports packages. You can play darts and Golden Tee, and there are talks of a pool table in the near future.
Drinks are affordable. There are 12 beers on tap, including craft beers, Guinness and Bud Light, which range from $2.50-$4. Fireball shots, Jaegermeister, Rumple Minze and Lemonic are always $3. Jäger bombs are $4.50.
Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. Drink deals include $2 select draft beers and $3 well drinks. You can snag five dollar snacks including wings, nachos, cheese quesadillas, jalapeño poppers and cheese pizzas.
TIPS | Brewski's Bar & Grill is non-smoking, but there is a smoking area outside. Check the Facebook page to find out details about an upcoming Grand Opening party.
