BARTENDER | Brian Colavecchio, 30

WHERE | Crooked Floor Tavern

How often do you go surfing? Any chance I can get. When I'm not working, I'm at the beach.

Where do you usually hit the water along the Grand Strand? If I'm not at Crooked then you can find me at Yucca Avenue.

Where's the best place you've ever gone surfing? Cape Hatteras in the Outer Banks (N.C.), but I'm working on getting out to Costa Rica...hopefully soon.

Where in Costa Rica? Playa Tamarindo is where I'm looking to go.

If you were to spend the rest of your life as a surf bum, would you travel from coast to coast or shanty up on a particular beach? I would travel... It's too big of a world to stay in one place. Traveling is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

Aside from Costa Rica, name three more stops in your future travel plans. New Zealand, Spain and Alaska.

What's the best way to travel... planes, trains or automobiles? If I could drive overseas I would, but I would have to fly.

What's the best way to travel around town... subway, bike or rollerblades? I'll take a longboard over all three and skate.

Is the floor really crooked at Crooked Floor Tavern? Yeah, haha...The foundation is safe so there is no worry there, but the floor has many heaves and bumps to it.

Crooked or not, how many drunk people do you see trip towards the end of the night? The floor has a way of evening your balance for you no matter how much you have had.
