The new King Street Grille is located on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet next to Hot Fish Club, where a host of bars and restaurants have tried to make a go of it, from Jimmagans to Capt. Poo’s. You can also find a King Street Grill at The Market Common and several in Charleston. The chain is part-owned by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and you will see his football jersey displayed on the wall.
You will also see TVs. Tons of TVs - 43 to be exact. King Street Grille carries all the sports packages. The establishment hosts trivia every Tuesday at 8 p.m., a deejay on Thursday nights and live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
King Street Grille has two bars...one inside and another on the indoor/outdoor deck. The latter bar is covered as are a variety of tables. There is also uncovered outdoor seating available. The inside has a number of high and low-top tables and booths.
Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Drink deals include $1 lopped off domestic beers (making a Bud Light $2.50), $3.75 house liquors, $4 Long Islands and $4.75 wines. You can also enjoy appetizers for $7, including nachos, wings, egg rolls and sliders. On Sundays, Red Stripe beers are $2.50. Vodka is two bucks on Thursdays.
