The Rice Museum Prevost Gallery will open an exhibition by the Artisans of the South Carolina Cotton Trail with a reception 2-4 p.m. Saturday.
This show, going through May 2, highlights 20 artists, including three with 3D works, in an array of media such as paintings, photographs, glass, jewelry, and wood.
The gallery, 633 Front St., Georgetown, is open 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays, and 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sundays, with free admission.

Later this spring, take in an exhibit by the local region of the Carolinas Nature Photographers Association (www.cnpa.org), May 9-June 13.
Visit the museum, Mondays-Saturdays within the aforementioned hours, for $7 adults, $5 ages 60 and older, $3 ages 6-21 and students, and free ages 5 and younger.
