Herb society gathers
The Low Country Herb Society meets on the second Tuesday monthly, and with a program on this day by Patricia Candal, author of “Mings Morning,” presenting information on herbs with medicinal properties. Details at www.lcherbsociety.info.
Join Lions for lunch
The Myrtle Beach Lions Club will have its sixth annual Carrabba’s Charity Luncheon/Silent Auction (of about 100 items), for lunch, for dine in or takeout, and a choice of chicken marsala with penne pomodora, mezzaluno, spaghetti with meat sauce or grilled chicken Caesar salad, plus beverages and dessert. Proceeds benefit glasses/hearing aid requests for needy children and adults, the Grand Strand Miracle Leagues, high school scholarships and other vision-related requests, such as eye surgeries.
Annual fair at school
