Two sites open new exhibits:

• Barbara Allinson’s “Creations Inspired by the World of Nature” (hand-painted ceramic), and Marianne Fischer’s “Different Strokes,” oils and watercolors of atmospheric seascapes and landscapes, both though May at Franklin Square Gallery, 130 East West St., Southport, N.C., open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays.
