Two branches of Horry County Memorial Library ( have special events, which are free, but with reservations requested:

• Family Greeting Card Party, to make keepsake cards, 4:30 p.m. at 2250 Carolina Forest Blvd., east of U.S. 501 – 915-5282.
• Family Story Time: “April Showers,” with crafts and snacks, 6-7 p.m. at 801 Main St., Conway – 915-7323.

Join opera workshop

The Grand Strand Opera Workshop meets the second Monday monthly, this time with a DVD showing of Mozart’s “Le Nozzie Di Figaro,” from the Glyndebourne Festival Opera in 1994 in Berlin. Details at 385-3963, and Brightwater at 903-8300.

Legends tweaks lineup

Legends in Concert welcomes tribute artists for Michael Jackson, through August, and Justin Timberlake, through April 26, joining a lineup that also celebrates music by the Blues Brothers, Aretha Franklin (through May 3), Elton John (through May 10) and Elvis Presley.
