Quilt exhibit opens

A quilt exhibit and sale by Quilts By Design, a local crafter’s group, opens for three days through Saturday. Also, several items will be raffled off (tickets $5 each, or four for $20) in a benefit for various Mercy Care community programs, including Camp Happy Hearts, for grieving children and teens. Antiques show starts

The Myrtle Beach Antiques Show opens for three days through Saturday. Details at 813-228-0038.

Ballet in ‘Cinderella’

The Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre – part of Coastal Dance Centre, with studios in Murrells Inlet, and at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach – opens “Cinderella,” dancing to music by the late Sergei Prokofiev, with shows at 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. ‘The Nerd’ on stage

• Local residents who show a photo ID receive buy-one-get-one-free admission through March 31. Tickets are, plus tax, $31.90, $38.25 or $43.75 for ages 17 and older, and $16.40 ages 16 and younger.
