Woman shot while waiting in car in Tanger Outlets parking lot

Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 58-year-old Myrtle Beach woman as she waited for her daughter to get off of work in a Tanger Outlet parking lot early Thursday morning. Horry County police were dispatched to the Tanger Outlets at 10823 Kings Road at 12:10 a.m. and found the victim with an “obvious gunshot wound” sitting in her vehicle. The victim told police two subjects approached her car and said “this is a stick-up” before one of them shot her.
