The 2017 boys tennis season didn’t end exactly how Myrtle Beach’s John Edward Cahill had hoped. But it isn’t keeping him from making sure next season has a different result — one with Myrtle Beach lifting up a state championship.
Marshall Hardee of Conway completed a coast to coast journey today at Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach. Hardee, age 22, ran 2,727 miles from Oceanside, CA to Myrtle Beach in 135 days pushing camping gear in a cart and sleeping on the roadside. Hardee said that he wants to tell people, "If you have a dream, no matter how wild it is, go ahead and do it."
