Judge Blake Martin explains why he is denying bond for three men charged with kidnapping, bank robbery and attempted murder on Thursday, May 5, 2016. The charges stem from the South State Bank robbery on North Myrtle Beach’s Main Street around 11 a.m. Wednesday. Suspects fired shots in the bank and as North Myrtle Beach police were pursuing them in a car. The suspects exited the car and ran into the woods off Watertower Road. The first suspect was caught around 1:30 p.m. off Long Bay Road and Kerchies Road, the second was found around 6:30 p.m. in an abandoned home in the area and the last suspect was caught in the woods near Long Bay Road around 9 p.m. The men facing charges in connection to the bank robbery are (from left) Rodrick Leland Berklery, 25, of Little River, Justin Alexander Pressley, 25, of Little River and Lance Roderick Hardiman, 24, of Longs. Bond was denied for all three men.
