Just in time for the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, forecasters with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C., are getting a boost in technology to help them better identify and predict how much rain and hail is falling in a specific area during a storm.
Below is the projected path of Subtropical Storm Beryl, according to the National Weather Service. Click on the map for a larger view.
After getting a few hearts pounding in anticipation of the season's first tropical storm, Tropical Storm Alberto seems to have decided to dis’ the Myrtle Beach area for the most part.
