Winning $1 million Powerball lottery ticket sold in Myrtle Beach

Check those lottery tickets: a $1 million winner was sold in Myrtle Beach.

The Powerball ticket, which won Saturday night, was purchased from Hasksim Inc., 7981 S.C. 544 in Myrtle Beach, lottery officials said Monday. The winner had not claimed the prize by mid-morning Monday.

The ticket matched all five white ball numbers. Saturday’s wining numbers: 2, 3, 7, 23, and 51 Powerball: 26.

The odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 5,153,633.

Lottery officials urge players to check their tickets. More than 8,400 players hold tickets for prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million. Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Also during the weekend, winning tickets worth a total of $400,000 were sold in Anderson and in Fort Mill.
