At a recent Veterans of Foreign Wars State Convention in Columbia, the North Myrtle Beach Post took the top two awards for the 2013/2014 year.

At a recent Veterans of Foreign Wars State Convention in Columbia, the North Myrtle Beach Post took the top two awards for the 2013/2014 year. They included Outstanding VFW Post in the state and Outstanding Post Commander in Allen Rundall. Post 10804 was recognized for its service to veterans and the civilian community. Post Commander Rundall credited the men and women of the post for their outstanding contributions to the post and their support of community activities. Also receiving awards were Robert Fedortion for his outstanding leadership in managing the state POW/MIA program, Paul Slater for his outstanding recruiting of new members and member retention as a national recruiter and Frank Fogner for his activities as a member of the VFW National Council.
