A woman is in serious, but stable, condition Saturday after a vehicle she was driving struck an unoccupied car in North Myrtle Beach Friday.

North Myrtle Beach police responded to the crash at about 11 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Main Street. The woman, whose name was not immediately released, had to be extricated from the vehicle after it flipped as a result of the crash, said Pat Dowling, spokesman for North Myrtle Beach.

The woman was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where she remained in serious condition Saturday afternoon, Dowling said.
