Editor of The Petigru Review pens children’s book

“Meena Mouse’s Perfect Raspberry” by Trilby Plants.

South Carolina author Trilby Plants has followed up her children’s picture book “Hubert Little’s Great Adventure” with a second book for youngsters: “Meena Mouse’s Perfect Raspberry.”

The book is illustrated by Deborah Gagnon, who lives in Plants’ native Michigan.

Plants is the editor of The Petigru Review and president of the South Carolina Writers’ Workshop.

“Meena Mouse’s Perfect Raspberry” teaches toddlers a lesson in responsibilty and comes with a notice to parents that more games and activities are available at trilbyplants.com. You can also read more about her other books and buy them there.

Plants will be at Clock Tower Books in Georgetown on July 19 from 1-3 p.m. to sign copies of her book.
