Issac Bailey blog: Report: South Carolina in Top 10 for gun death rate

According to the Violence Policy Center, South Carolina has the ninth worst rate of gun violence in the nation. That includes suicides – which are more successful when a gun is used – accidents and homicides.

In related news, an open carry group in Texas has postponed a planned march through a neighborhood founded by former slaves. The group is simply taking the “more guns everywhere is better for us” mantra to its natural conclusion, even if it makes little sense.
