Taylor Swift tribute joines lineup at Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach

Elizabeth Scarborough, a Charleston native who plays guitar, will pay tribute to Taylor Swift through Aug. 16 at Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach.


Legends in Concert has made room for a sixth act debuting in Myrtle Beach through Aug. 16, to salute Taylor Swift.

Elizabeth Scarborough, a 5-foot-10-inch Charleston native who plays guitar, will pay tribute to Swift and include her latest hits from the CD “Red.”

The University of South Carolina senior joins a summer lineup with the Blues Brothers (portrayed by Dan Meisner and Russ Peterson), Michael Jackson (S.C. native J. Lucas), Madonna (Kimberly Goltry), Elvis Presley (Leo Days), and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler (Chris VanDahl).

Show times at the theater, at 29th Avenue North and U.S. Bypass, next to Planet Hollywood, are:

• Through Aug. 16: 8 p.m. Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays; 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 4 and 8 p.m. Wednesdays.

• Aug. 18-31: 8 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays

• Special Sunday show: 8 p.m. July 6.

Tickets are, plus tax: $37.95 or $42.95 for ages 17 and older, and $13.95 or $18.95 ages 3-16; booth $48.95 and $23.95, respectively per age group; and VIP $45.95 for all.
