66-year-old Myrtle Beach woman faces assault charges after allegedly biting man

Myrtle Beach Police arrested a 66-year-old woman Monday during a response to an assault allegation.

Mona Barber, of Sessions Street in Myrtle Beach, allegedly spit on a man and bit his finger when he pointed it at her to tell her to stop, according to police reports.

The victim also told police Barber began scratching him all over his hands and face. Police observed scratches on the victims arms and large red marks on the the victim’s neck and face when they arrived at the scene.

Barber was taken to Myrtle Beach Jail.
