North Myrtle Beach looking for robbery suspect

North Myrtle Beach police are attemoting to identify a man who took money from a hotel on Memorial Day, authorities said.

An unknown man wearing a red ball cap, tan colored shorts and a white t-shirt stole money from a cash register of the front lobby of the Super 8 Motel at 3801 U.S. 17 South about 5 a.m. May 31, police said.

The suspect is about 6 feet tall with a slender build and between 30 and 40 years-old.

About $300 was taken from the hotel.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery can call 280-5511.
