Letter |Ad belies Graham’s performance for South Carolina

May 23, 2014

I can't believe the gall of Sen. Lindsey Graham to air an advertisement saying that he is doing what needs to be done to relieve South Carolina from the burden of Obamacare aka the Affordable Care Act.

Not only does he promote a dishonest and cynical political ad, but he uses other elected official to prop up the ad to make it look legitimate. And, by the way, why do these other elected officials allow their names to be used when they know darned well that this is a phony argument. The failure to stand on the principal of honesty is why Americans are fed up with the Washington establishment.

OK, so Sen. Graham submitted a bill to relieve South Carolina of the burden of Obamacare. Is there anybody in their right mind that thinks for a second that such a bill will pass through the House of Representatives, the Democrat (Harry Reid) controlled Senate and then be signed into law by President Obama.

You would have a better chance at finding the missing Indonesian Airliner than having that bill become law. It will never become law, Graham knows it and he is being a political opportunist playing on the emotions of an uninformed TV watching electorate to make himself look like he is with and for the people of South Carolina.
