Georgetown animal shelter seeking donations for injured and abandoned dog

Saint Frances Animal Care Center is seeking donations for Little Bit, an abandoned dog brought to the Georgetown shelter by animal control that needs emergency amputation surgery.

Saint Frances Animal Care Center in Georgetown is seeking donations for an abandoned and injured dog’s surgery, according to an email from the agency.

Little Bit, sometimes called LB, is a few months old and was brought to the shelter by animal control with no information on what caused the injury.

Little Bit requires an emergency amputation of one of her front paws, a procedure that will cost $1,500.

Anyone who wants to contribute to the fund can visit sfanimals.org to donate through Paypal, or call the shelter at 546-0780.
