No arrests have been made in a shooting that injured a man in a Conway apartment complex, said Lt. Selena Small.

Police responded about 3 p.m. Wednesday to 374 Kiskadee Loop where a man was found with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

According to an incident report released Thursday, police said several people were in the apartment when an altercation occurred and the 21-year-old man was injured.

Coastal Carolina University sent an email and text alert at 3:45 p.m. telling students who live in Wild Wing, which is off U.S. 501, to stay inside because four armed and dangerous men are at large driving in a black SUV and a white Toyota forerunner. The alert said one person was in custody.

Small said four men left the apartment in two vehicles – a dark SUV and a white SUV.

Police ask anyone who with information about the shooting to call 248-1790.
