Myrtle Beach area developer wants to build new Wyndham at Barefoot Resort

Coastal Resorts Holding LLC is seeking permission from North Myrtle Beach to build a 138-room Wyndham hotel at the Barefoot Resort.

The hotel, an adjacent classroom and 20-unit multifamily building, and 120 dwelling units would replace 11 multifamily buildings now approved for land near the golf practice facility, according to an amendment filed at North Myrtle Beach’s planning and development department.

The amendment is to be heard by the city’s Planning Commission at its meeting scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at City Hall, according to information from the city.

The hotel would be four stories with a 151-seat restaurant. The multifamily building would be three stores high with the first floor dedicated to classrooms.
