One man is in police custody after a standoff that lasted about two hours in Little River, Lt. Robert Kegler said Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called about 12:30 p.m. Thursday to the house on Sanford Road, which is located off of Wampee Road near S.C. 9. The man had barricaded themselves in the house and had refused to cooperate with police.

Kegler said the man fired a shot through the roof of the home before exiting on his own and surrendering to police about 2:20 p.m.

He has not been identified and formal charges remain pending.
