Police are looking for two men in connection with a shooting that injured one man in Little River Monday afternoon, said Melissa Cox, with Horry County police.

The shooting occured about 12:30 Monday at 93 North Highway 57 in Little River where a Tiger Mart and Bojangles are located. Cox was not sure where on the property the shooting happened.

Specific descriptions of the two suspects was not available, but Cox said police are looking for an older model green Jeep Cheroke with a North Carolina license plate.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, Cox said. His condition was not available late Monday.

Monday’s shooting in Little River is not connected to a fatal shooting at a grocery store in Loris early Sunday, Cox said.
