Deadly shooting in Loris remains under investigation

Horry County police continue to investigate the death of a grocery store manager in Loris, said Sgt. Scott Kluska.

Malcolm Ray Norris Jr., 49, of Tabor City was shot inside the store about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, said Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.

Police said the suspect left with money Sunday. The amount was not disclosed.

Kluska said no arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate. Specific details of the suspect were not available.
