Job fair for veterans on tap this week

About 20 employers are set to participate in a job fair for veterans this week in Myrtle Beach.

The Veterans Career and Job Fair -- which is open to veterans, current service members and spouses -- will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the S.C. National Guard Armory, 501 19th Avenue South.

A variety of employers have signed up to participate, including the city of Myrtle Beach, Kingston Resorts Hilton, the Social Security Administration, Palmetto Goodwill, Prudential and Vacation Myrtle Beach, according to the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce.
