Tuesday to be mostly sunny in Myrtle Beach

Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a slight chance of afternoon showers in Myrtle Beach, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C.

Highs will reach the upper 70s with a light west wind becomming southwest by the morning blowing 5 to 10 mph.

Rain chances are about 20 percent after 2 p.m. forecasters said, though the odds jump to 40 percent after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Clouds will likely move in afternoon leading to a mostly cloudy Tuesday night with lows around 56.
