A 22-year-old died after falling from a balcony at a Myrtle Beach hotel, said Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene just after midnight Thursday from injuries sustained in the fall, Fowler said. He has not been identified pending notification of his family.

Myrtle Beach police Capt. David Knipes said the investigation is ongoing but foul play is not suspected.

An officer was flagged down by the manager of the Windsurfer Motel at 210 North Ocean Boulevard at 12:05 a.m., according to an incident report.

The victim fell from the seventh floor of the hotel, the report said, and was found on the concrete near the pool.
