Phone lines at Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office not working

The incoming telephone lines to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office are not working, according to a news release issued at 9:45 a.m. Monday.

The 911 center is not impacted by the issues, so if residents have an emergency they should call 911.

If residents need to speak with a deputy please call 546-5101.

It was unclear what caused the issues, but the problem is being addressed and residents will be notified when the service has been restored.
