Man found guilty in former Paradise Club shooting

A 28-year-old man was found guilty this week in the shooting death of a man at a Georgetown County club.

Terron Gerhard Dizzley was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 35 years imprisonment, said Georgetown County Sherriff’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson.

Deputies responded to the former Paradise Club at 899 Oatland Road in Georgetown Dec. 2, 2008 where 31-year-old Aundry Nathaniel Evans Jr. was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Evans died at Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Cuthbertson said.

Dizzley was charged with murder Dec. 12, 2008 and was found guilty Thursday.
