The Aluminum Assault robotics team from the Academy for the Arts, Science and Technology has added a link to the school’s webpage where donations can be made for its trip to the World FIRST Robotics Championship in St. Louis.

AAST won the N.C. Regional March 15 to qualify for the international competition, which will be held April 23-26. The team must raise $25,000 by April 20 to cover expenses, including the $4,000 registration fee and food, transportation and lodging for about 30 students, coaches and chaperones.

Contributions are tax deductible and also can be mailed to AAST, 895 International Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
