— Georgetown Police are looking for a 21-year-old Pawleys Island man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours Sunday.

Police say an arrest warrant has been obtained for Kwamane Edward Smith, who is accused of shooting a 39-year-old Georgetown man at a residence on Park Street in Georgetown. Police say the man was shot in the lower abdomen and was treated at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The victim has undergone surgery and is in stable condition, according to police.
